Toddler talk : I am ashamed..

The other day, when I was FBing, Liya peeked into my screen. Someone had shared below photo in some page and I was reading the message underneath. Upon seeing that Liya asked me in a soft sobbing voice "Momma is that baby hungry?"

I learned a lesson!

Did I tell you? I learned a big lesson from my little girl a few week ago...!  Well, parenting is all about learning and we keep learning, unlearning and re-learning from our children. These little munchkins can sometimes perplex us with unexpected moves. My latest experience was a shock for me than a surprise.

Bucket List Update!

Welcome to an unusually late Bucket List Update.

The Days in a Week
Now we know all the days in a week. And we love Monday and Thursday most. Because Liya loves going to daycare and being with her cute little friends. Liya loves singing below rhyme and that's how she learned about different days in a week.

Book of the Week ~ Seymour and Henry

Theme: Mothers/Sister
Our Pick: Seymour and Henry

Syemour and Henry are siblings... they just love playing all the day long like my little Liya
Evening, momma is calling them back home but they just don't want to go back to home..
They run away from Momma... they go far far away from Momma...
They play far away in the garden... after a while it rains and they come back to find their sweet Momma waiting for them right there... How sweet are Mommas.. aren't they?
Momma takes them home... and put them into sleep!

28 Splendid Months...

...Masha Allah!

Let me give you an update on her 'specific behaviors'!

Determination: I am often amazed at her level of determination. If she decides something to/not to do, nothing in this world can change her mind. Even if I offer a chocolate or ice cream she would just refuse it because she doesn't want to change the 'particular' decision she has already made, merely for an ice cream or chocolate.

Adamant: Don't confuse with 1. She is adamant for weird things. For example, one day she mentioned it 'RED' instead of 'BLUE'. I tried my best to correct her and she already knew that she was wrong. She simply wanted to challenge me and repeated "No, No.. It's RED RED."
